Part of my fascination with photography has been the results. I find the connection I get with nature and the Universe to be very calming and relaxing when I go out with my camera. That feeling is there whether I'm on a crowded street in a busy city or alone in a special place outdoors. Photography to me is my means of expression -- my
"Art Form."
I firmly believe that we are on this earth to grow and learn, and that any growth and learning is part of that. My simple test as to whether someone has more to learn goes something like this:
Question #1 Do You have more to learn?'
Question #2: Are you still breathing?
If you answer "yes" to either question, the answer to the other is also "yes"
The other major fascination with photography is the technology. Anyone who knows me knows that if I'm going to be around something I have to know how and why it works. That is very much so with my photography. My interest is a combination of the little boy needing toys and the technician being curious and wanting to learn.
With that out of the way I've started to create a page dedicated to that technology. The following sections are dedicated to demonstrating my camera technology, and the technology I'm using here to share them with you.
The following tables include links to pages that show the cameras and lenses that were used to create the photographs that make up my various web sites.

These pictures were taken at Assiniboine Park in Winnipeg in June 2004. They are all taken from one location with the same Nikon D-70 camera. Only the lens changes from one page to the next. Click on the links under the thumbnail pictures for larger versions of the pictures.
